4-H Membership

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H is about having fun, learning, exploring and discovering. In 4-H, young people make new friends, develop new skills, become leaders and help shape their communities. 4-H gives them a chance to pursue their own interests - from photography to computers, from building rockets to raising sheep. They learn to be leaders and active citizens. In 4-H clubs, they serve as officers and learn to conduct meetings, handle club funds, and facilitate group decision-making. In a growing number of communities, 4-H youth serve as youth representatives in municipal or county government or as members of Teen Courts. Clover Kids, Livestock (Beef, Breeding Beef, Swine, Poultry, Lamb, Goat, Rabbits), Photography, Clothing and Textiles, Shooting Sports, Food & Nutrition, and Horticulture

Membership to the Katy 4 H Club is open to all youth in the Katy Area. Our club has children in all age divisions including:

Clover Kids program - children 7-8 years old
Junior - 9 to 11 years of age
Intermediate - 12 to 13 years of age
Senior - 14 to 19 years of age

Online Enrollment

August 1st starts a new 4-H enrollment year on 4-H CONNECT! All profiles will change to INACTIVE ON AUGUST 1ST and you will be required to re-enroll for the 2010-11 4-H year. Profile items have changed for the 2011-12 year so it is important that all youths update their profile before submitting. Click on https://texas.4honline.com/Login.aspx?434850372944385D5E0F390D to access the 4H Online registration. Please read the instructions very carefully. Returning members and new members will need to complete the 4H Online registration.

If you are a returning member, select "I have a profile" and login. If you registering for the very first time, select "I need to setup a profile". Please start enrolling August 1, 2011, not any earlier....
